Warning: Rats That Survived Hurricane Sandy May Spread Infectious Diseases

The most common ways people die after hurricanes are from  falling tree limbs, electrocution by live wires, and drowning. But there’s an additional health concern that those on the east coast, especially New York, should consider: rats.

According to the Huffington Post, New Yorkers should be very concerned about the danger the overwhelming rodent populations poses to the human population.
