Kimora Lee Simmons Splits From Djimon Hounsou

After five and a half years,(a long time in the industry), fashion mogul, Kimora Lee Simmons, and actor, Djimon Hounsou, have decided to go their separate ways. The two started dating in 2008. Although they never made it legal in the United States, Simmons and Hounsou married in the of Summer 2008. The marriage took place in Hounsou’s home town of Benin, Africa with daughters Aoki and Ming looking on.

There had been rumors of a break up prior to today’s news. According to the New York Daily News Osama Bin Laden’s  alleged mistress, Kola Boof, claimed that she had broken the pair up, back in June, due to Kimora’s treatment of her.

Simmons wanted to set the record straight. “There have been quite a few hurtful rumors circulating.
