Oops, Heartthrob Michael Ealy Forgot to Tell Y’all He Got Married

Women have been swooning over Michael Ealy and his light eyes since his break-out role in Barbershop,  and you know what? Ealy wants you to keep his fans swooning, which is why he neglected to inform his fans that he’s married.Michael Ealy

According to People.com, Ealy married his longtime girlfriend, Khatira Rafiqzada, back in October. In other words…. they been married. Ealy’s been off the market for a minute, but his reps didn’t leak a word of it until this week.

Why? According to Ealy’s rep, he’s not the kind of guy to put his business on the street, not at first anyway.

“Michael has always been a private guy, and he wanted to enjoy his time as a newlywed with his wife privately,” his rep said. “Now that some time has passed and the holidays are here, he wanted to share the news with his fans that he is married and very happy.”

Hmmm. It’s also possible that some tabloid was threatening to release the info which forced Ealy’s hand. Who knows?! Ealy wouldn’t be the first to hide his marriage as a way of furthering his career.  Janet Jackson shocked the world when she was sued for divorce by a husband no one even knew she had – Rene Elizondo.

Most people knew Elizondo as Jackson’s songwriter and boyfriend, but most people didn’t know that they had a secret wedding back in 1991. Jackson acknowledged the marriage and said she hid it in an effort to keep a normal life. In Hollyweird, this sort of thing happens all the time.
