George Zimmerman, who is set to go on trial for the murder of unarmed teen Trayvon Martin, was ordered by a judge on Tuesday to continue wearing his
GPS tracking device. Judge Debra Nelson denied a request by Zimmerman’s attorney to have the device removed for safety reasons.
Zimmerman shot and killed 17 year old Trayvon Martin as Martin was walking to his father’s home after having purchased Skittles and Iced Tea at a convenience store. Zimmerman, a self-appointed neighborhood watchman, claimed that he shot Trayvon Martin in self-defense.
Judge Nelson also refused to lower Zimmerman’s bond.

Why is he free to roam anywhere besides the confines of a jail cell?
