Tichina Arnold Doesn’t Seem to Think Martin Reunion Could Ever Possibly Happen

If you’re one of the people who has been crossing their fingers and hoping that the comedy series, “Martin,” would make a comeback, it may be best not to hold your breath. First of all, it has been 20 years since the show was on the small screen and second of all, the reason why the show went away was because Tisha Campbell (Martin’s girlfriend, Gina, on the show) sued Martin Lawrence because it seemed be had a minor problem with “intimacy” boundaries.

Now, Tichina Arnold (Pam, on the show) says she is not optimistic that the show will come back, either. While the show is still on as reruns on Centric and can be bought on DVD, Arnold says that she doesn’t think that a reunion episode is possible, especially if Martin and Campbell would be required to be in the same room at the same time.

Speaking on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live!”, she said,

“We’ve all gone our separate ways, and we didn’t know ‘Martin’ would be as big as it was. We didn’t know we were part of an iconic show.”

Since playing Pam on “Martin”,  Arnold has gone on to star on another hit sitcom, “Everybody Hates Chris,” but she says that people still recognize her as “Pam”.

She said,

“I always get Pam. People always tell me I’m gonna always be Pam. That means I did my job right.”

While the cast members of “Martin” still stay in touch, it seems that a a reunion show is not likely. It seems that things are still a little weird after the lawsuit.
