Michelle Obama Not Running For Office Because It Takes “a Great Deal of Patience”

In an interview with ABC’s Barbara Walters, First Lady Michelle Obama set the record straight, making it clear that she doesn’t have any plans to run for  office.

“I have learned from my husband, watching him, that it does require a great deal of patience to really feel the full impact of the work that you do on the ground,” FLOTUS said. “It doesn’t happen right away.”

When Walters asked Mrs. Obama what she’d change about herself, Obama said she’d like more patience.

“I’d be more patient. I think I’ve gotten more patient over the years,” Obama said. “I’m constantly working on just being patient with myself and not letting my expectations get ahead of what’s happening now.”
