After debuting at number one on the Billboard charts with his solo debut “Based On A T.R.U. Story,” (B.O.A.T.S.) rapper Two Chainz has achieved another milestone.
His Def Jam-backed release has surpassed 500,000 in total number of units sold. The RIAA has certified the album gold under their sales standards. When an LP reaches 500,000 sales, it is certified as a gold release. An album is considered platinum when it reaches 1 million in sales. An album is classified as diamond when it reaches sales of 10 million or more.
The 36-year-old College Park, Georgia native’s album B.O.A.T.S. was released on August 14, 2012.
