Jovan Belcher Told Lover He Would Shoot His Girlfriend If “She Didn’t Leave Him Alone”

The Kansas City Star is reporting that deceased Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher told a secret girlfriend that he would shoot Kassandra Perkins if she “didn’t leave him alone.”

Belcher eventually shot his girlfriend in cold blood a few weeks later, shooting her after a long argument after she’d been out all-night at a Trey Songz concert.   The death was just ruled to be a murder-suicide, where the 25-year old player shot his 22-year old girlfriend while his mother and daughter were also inside the house.
