As Battle Over Immigration Takes Shape in Congress, Obama’s Uncle Faces Deportation

President Obama and the so-called ‘Gang of 8′, a group of  U.S. senators who are helping craft immigration policy, have made it clear Obama's unclethat they intend on getting comprehensive immigration passed. If passed, this legislation may help many immigrants breathe a sigh of relief, but it my not help President Obama’s uncle, who is currently facing deportation.

On Wednesday a Boston immigration judge set a Dec. 3 hearing to determine if President Obama’s uncle, Onyango Obama, should be deported to his native Kenya, or allowed to remain in the U.S., where he has been for  50 years. Onyango Obama’s lawyer argued that he should be given legal residency in America given how long he has been in the country.

“Everybody wants to stay in America,’’ said Bratton. “Hopefully, on Dec. 3, the case will be over.’’

Obama manages a liquor store and came to America in 1963 to attend an school at Cambridge. Obama eventually dropped out of school and was ordered to return to Kenya, but never did. He probably would’ve remained out the crosshairs of immigration authorities had he not been arrested for drunken driving in 2011. After Obama’s arrest, the Board of Immigration Appeals reopened his immigration case.

Immigration documents obtained by the Boston Globe show that Obama was first ordered to leave in 1986, and again in 1989. Somehow Obama slipped through the cracks all those years, but given his high profile nephew, it is doubtful that that will happen again.

The President is such a sad joke! I did vote for him the 1st time but I peeped the cards he was holding before the 2nd election.

Barack Hussain Obama is out for his self and his sick agenda, he is not trying to make America a better place, I promise you, all on this blog the nation will be a lot worse off when he leaves in 2016, after all it’s a lot worse after the 1st four years.

I understand you love the man, I just can’t figure out why!

He cannot intercede because people will cry foul, the men has been contributing to American society for 50yrs but he broke the law. If his last name was not Obama he would have been fined and nobody would be wiser. This is the GOP’s way to get back at the President

Erica you must be a Obama zombie. America is in this mess because we do not enforce our law on immigraton. Thats why blacks in LA are being forced to move by hispanic gangs and no one says a thing about it. Obama is without a doubt the worst president for America, for another country maybe? but not us. Our economy is shinking and he is talking amnesty for million illegals who want to take over America and turn it into the sh`t they came from. This amnesty only puts blacks further in the unemployment line and will make us nothing but beggars.

Avery, Avery. c*t Erica some slack. Zombies are literally brain d**d . . . she can’t help herself. Don’t you see the way she blames the Republicans for Obama’s uncle’s problems? As if the Republicans were the ones who proteted him this past 50 years, and then all of a sudden decided to liquor him up and give him a set of car keys. Does nobody see the Irony of how pres-Obama preaches to us about taxing the “rich” so poor people can have a better life, while his own relatives are living in government housing here in the US, and in shacks in Kenya? Pres-Obama is himself one of the rich people, so why doesn’t he demonstate his passion for notion that rich people ought to help the poor and “spread the wealth around” by setting up his own family with some basic middle-class housing, a bunch of free food, and some spending money? If a man won’t take care of his own family (when he has the means to do so), that says it all.

Avery thinks like a mo*on. You people are feeling too big; you can’t cook, so you hire immigrants to cook for you. You can’t wash, you hire immigrants to wash for you. And you’re becoming beggars? Why won’t you be.
Is President Obama going to make you lean to wash your clothes? Cook your food? Clean your house?
        Lazy pigs!
Do your things by yourself and no one will take your job.

Historically Boston has been noted to be very segregated. Giving its location (a major northern city) is probably one of the most segregated cities in the USA. Many of Boston’s residents and the surrounding area are Irish and/or Irish descendants. In May of 2011 President Obama visited Ireland and met a few relatives. I believe that President Obama who was raised knowing his mother and her side of the family may have a few distant relatives living in the Boston area…

Immigration on the table! They (you know who) finds the one illegal relative on his father’s side living where? Boston!

Actually, this is NOT the only illegal-alien relative of Barack. Zeituni Onyango — “Aunt Zeituni” in Dreams of my Father — was found living in public housing in Boston a few years ago. She too was here illegally. If fact, she has been ordered (by an immigration judge) to leave the country. She also violated federal campaign laws, when she ILLEGALLY contributed money to Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign. (It is illegal for foreign citizens and/or immigrants without green cards to make political donations.) But despite her criminal activity (beyond simply being an illegal alien), she is still here.

As a white man recently retired from many years of teaching history and French in an inner-city school in Jersey City, I would like to weigh in on the above article. It seems to me that after 50 years of contributing to this nation, the president’s uncle should be left alone to finish out his years in peace. As I have reminded my students many times, it was not the Africans who invaded Europe and took Europeans as slaves back to Africa; it was the other way around. As for papers and Green Cards, nobody seemed to care for 300 years how many Africans came in “illegally,” so long as they worked the plantations… It is inconceivable to me that the president cannot interced on behalf of his uncle!

Jerry — you are half right. The Europeans did go to Africa to get slaves, but the Europeans did NOT “invade” African to get the slaves. Rather, the Europeans went to African ports, purchased the people we now refer to as slaves from OTHER AFRICANS (and them shipped them to the “New World Colonies” and sold them). The fact is that salvery is alive and well in Africa this very day.

The very first slave in what is now the United States was purchaced by a “free” black man. That’s right, the first slave was owned by a person who was also from Africa. Granted, the great majority of slaves were owned by white people, but recognize that free-blacks were more likely to own slaves — and more of them — than were white people.

Also, those slaves did not come here “illegally.” While I hope we all agree that slavery is wrong, it was not illegal to “import” a slave until 1808 (30 years after the founding of the nation); and for all intents and purposes, imporation of slaves to the USA did cease at that point.

Me I am so glad to see you having the b***s to state historical facts regarding the slave issue. Go to Africa to find my roots. Think they originated at Sullivans Island, SC

Sad…can’t even help/save his own immediate family member? This man ain’t thinking about blacks. Why this fact is so hard to grasp by so many is hard to grasp in itself… Must be that ‘natural-selection-darwinisn’ thing at work.

BigZ — Barack has never embraced the “black side” of his family. Never. Sure, he used his long d**d sperm-donor-only “father” as a character to help sell his book (Dreams from my Father), yet he had numerous living relatives on the black side of the family (aunts, uncles, grandmothers, half-brothers) that he has had the opportunity to associate with, yet has NEVER done so.

Now, the “white” side of the family isn’t much different. He was raised by his white grandparents (after being functionally abandoned by his white mother when he was around 10 years old). He maintained a relationship with them, by obvious circumstance that was a child, until he was out of high school. After he went off to college, it seems his interactions with the white side of the family greatly subsided, too. He has a half-sister on the mother’s side with whom he likewise has little contact.

OK, that’s the “official story” anyway. If there ever was an opportunity for someone to assume an identity, or simply make up one, this greatly disjoint “family” provides such an opportunity. Most of us get our basic world view from our parents; but where did Obama get his world view from? Saul Alinski? Frank Marshall Davis? William Ayers & Bernadine Dorn?

      Think about it.

President Obama so hate black people that he even went and marry a black woman and have black children! Think! About the many black men who marry white women an had refused to marry their own kind. Think! believe me it is not hard to do. So wake and see how stupid your statement is? That the President Barrack Obama don’t like black people?

If Uncle Obama has been here for 50 years, why bother him now? I am certain that there are those among the European and other groups ‘hiding’ in sight for a much shorter time who will never be deported. He has the ‘wrong’ name or he would still be unknown.
