Chuck E. Cheese Customer Claims Waitress Cut Her During Argument Over Salad Bar

A Chuck E. Cheese customer has filed a lawsuit claiming she was st*bbed by a waitress at a Southwest Side Chicago restaurant.Chuck-E-Cheese-1

The Chicago Sun Times reports:

LaNasia Randle claims Shardonnae Pruitt threw a napkin dispenser at her boyfriend and stabbed her with a knife three times inside the Chuck E. Cheese’s in the 5300 block of South Kedzie Avenue, according to a lawsuit filed Friday in Cook County Circuit Court.

According to the complaint, the argument was over whether Aron Moten, who accompanied Randle, had paid the bill for the salad bar. Both Moten and Randle  say security was on hand but refused to restrain the waitress.
This is not the first time in recent months that Chuck E. Cheese has made the news for violent incidents. In mid December, Your Black World reported on a fight at the restaurant.
Police arrived at around 8:30 p.m only to find several adults screaming obscenities and throwing chairs at each other in the dining room:

Police demanded that they stop, but several of the brawlers ignored police, so police pepper sprayed the unruly parents. Two men were still screaming at each other and had to be restrained by police

Witnesses at the scene told police the brawl began when two girls began arguing, then the mothers of the two girls began arguing with each other, and that argument turned physical. Next thing you know, there was a full blown melee, with chairs flying through the air and people bleeding.

Randle and Moten are demanding more than $50,000 in damages for medical expenses and negligence.
