It could be the best halftime performance in SuperBowl history. It was so good, it knocked out the lights in the arena. If you were worried about Beyoncé giving a stellar performance, then you are, at best, a lackluster fan. The show had it all. Lights, graphics, dancers, a jammin’ all girl band, which is Bey’s signature, and a crowd of screaming fans, running to the stage.
Bey appeared in silhouette, her body looking like a leading lady out of a comic strip. Motherhood did not make her worse, it has actually made her better. Beyoncé came out swinging. She pulled out all the stops, even reuniting with Destiny’s Child for a few songs. If you did not know, Michelle Williams tried her best to keep the performance a surprise, but once rumors started flying, fans knew that it was definitely going to happen.
The girls were back at it again. Kelly Rowland was in rare form and got a little thicker to boot. Does this mean that the girls are up for a comeback? Not so fast. While Kelly was doing fairly well with Bey, Michelle appeared a bit smaller and out of place with the dance routine.
All in all it was good to see the three of them turning it out again. Bey ended the night with Halo. At the end of her energetic explosion of a performance Bey was grateful saying,”Thank you for this moment, God bless ya’ll.,” Shortly thereafter, Twitter and Facebook were abuzz about the lights being accidentally c*t off during the game. Her performance goes down in history with Prince, U2, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, and Sir Paul McCartney.
