By Popular Demand Beyoncé Adds Additional Shows To Mrs. Carter Tour

bey222Due to popular demand Beyoncé has added  three additional shows to the Britain leg of her show. The UK tour dates will now include two appearances at the O2 in London, on May 4th and 5th, and one extra show on  May 9th ,in Manchester. The singer announced the tour in the early part of February, after her SuperBowl halftime performance, via her fan page.

The Mrs. Carter Tour, which is an ode to her husband Jay-Z ,aka Shawn Carter, will start on April 15th. Tickets for the UK concerts officially go on sale on Saturday, February 23rd.  Although it has been rumored that her husband may take the stage with her, for a few shows, it has not been confirmed. Jay-z will be busy with his own tour dates, as he has just announced that he will be going on tour with good  friend, Justin Timberlake.

The UK tour officially kicks off in Belgrade, Serbia on April 15th and ends in Stockholm, on May 29th. Beyoncé will be making a stop in Birmingham as well. After the UK leg of the tour, Beyoncé will take a month off ,in preparation for the United States, which starts June 28th. The first stop for the US will be the Staples Center, in Los Angeles.   The tour will end in her husband’s hometown of Brooklyn, NY, at the Barclay’s Center. The couple has close ties to the Arena, as Jay-Z is a co-owner. On the last tour date, daughter, Blue Ivy, will be close by, as the couple has a state of the art nursery for the tot, equipped with toys, in the basement of the center. This tour is the first that the diva has embarked on, since having her daughter.
