Chris Brown Opens Up Says Rihanna Has Forgiven Him

CB226Chris Brown is finally breaking his silence about the biggest elephant in the room, his rekindled romance with singer, Rihanna. Just recently the bad boy of R&B told The Mirror, “That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake”, referring to the 2009 incident that ended their relationship.

He added, “But she loves me – what can I say? I’m forgiven… but, yes, I worked hard for it.” “Sometimes you row, you fight, with the one you love and things get said, stuff spirals.”The two have made no apologies about their public displays of affection, being spotted out and about on several occasions. The two made headlines when they appeared cozy at the Grammys, but then confused the media when they sat apart, at a VIP event days later.

Just recently, the two spent some time in Hawaii, for Rihanna’s birthday. It was believed that Brown was still connected to his ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. With his recent admissions of regret and forgiveness, the rumors can now be put to rest. Things may be blissful on the love front for Rihanna and Chris but Brown is still facing allegations, as a result of that fateful night, with the defense accusing Brown of falsifying his community service. It seems like everywhere he goes, he has faced opposition. Outside of an LA club, Brown encountered an alleged gang member that threatened to do physical harm to him. On his way to judge a dance competition, the singer crashed his car into a building and blamed it on the paparazzi. And everyone knows that he was receiving loads of backlash about the b***l with singer, Frank Ocean. Now that love is back on track for Brown, hopefully he is sincerely working on cleaning up his image for good.

I think it is time to put this to rest and allow these two young people to make their own decisions about their relationship. I am not blaming the victim but I do believe that they are both victims. Chris Brown is a talented performer that made a huge mistake and Rihanna played a part in this also. I am a survivor of domestic violence and have also counseled many women as well as given work shops on domestic violence. It’s about growth. Let it rest
