At Least Four d**d After 25 Minute Shooting Spree in Orange County California

At least four people have been killed after a man went on a 25 minute shooting spree in and around the counties of Tustin and Villa crime scene tapePark California, according to reports.

The suspected shooter took his own life after being stopped by police  following the first three shootings, Lt. Paul Garaven of the Tustin Police Department tells the Orange County Register.

“When a stop was initiated, the suspect s**t and killed himself,” confirmed police.

The first shooting was reported at around  5:30 a.m near Red Leaf Lane and was accompanied by a car jacking.

Reports indicate that a man in his 20′s fled the scene, and was involved in a second shooting on the 55 near the Edinger Avenue exit. The third shooting reportedly occurred near McFadden Avenue and the 55 freeway. Another car jacking was also reported near the 55 highway as well.

A bystander who was also near the scene was injured during the incident.

Orange County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Jim Amormino tells a local NBC affiliate, “There are no other shooters and there is no threat to the community.”

The motive for the shooting is not clear.
