Ex-Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. Under “Tight Medical Supervision”

by Deborah Caldwell

Civil rights icon Jesse Jackson, father of ex-Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr., says  his son is under “tight medical supervision”  afterjesse jackson jr. 2 being diagnosed with bipolar depression and resigning from Congress.

“He is struggling with the highs and lows of his bipolar disorder,” Jackson Sr. told the Chicago Tribune in a statement.

Jesse Jackson Jr. was formally charged on Friday with misuse of campaign funds.

Jackson resigned from Congress in November after serving for 17 years as a Chicago Congressman. Before Jackson resigned from Congress, he spent time at the Mayo Clinic for treatment of his bipolar disorder.

Several reports have indicated  that Jackson faces a maximum penalty of up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Jackson’s wife, Sandi Jackson, is also implicated for her role in filing false tax returns, according to authorities.

Even as the elder Jackson is praying for his own son, his thoughts and prayers are also with those who are victims of gun violence as well.

“As I pray for my own family, I also pray for the victims of shootings and violence,” Jackson said.

“Please continue to pray for our family,” Jackson concluded. “Let’s pray for each other; let’s pray for hope and change. Through it all, prayer, forgiveness and redemption still matter.”

Nice try Jesse, but your behind is going to JAIL!!! I hope you read this. You are nothing but a low life THIEF. The world is filled with people with bi-polar disorder and many of them are in jail. You are NOT special. Just stand in the meds line and take your pills like the other convicts. OR…you could save up a couple of months worth and k**l yourself.

Don’t be one of those Klansman that come on the site. Jesse Jr is smart and so is Sr. You would not have as many rights as you have if it had not been for people like them. He may be flawed but so are most of you you just didn’t get close to money. Why are all of the other congressmen rich. Stealing. Jesse Jr. was the first to ask that the menium wage go up. Come on take the blinders off. Set up, set up, set up.

THIS IS A GREAT TIME FOR THE JUSTICE SYSTEM TO SHOW THE LAW APPLIES TO EVERY ONE. THE CHANCES ARE GREAT THAT HE WILL NOT GET ANY TIME, BUT YOU AS A COMMON PERSON DO THE SAME THING AND YOU WILL SEE THE INSIDE OF A PRISON.

MONEY, POWER AND PRESTIGUE WILL KEEP YOU OUT OF PRISON IN OUR GREAT COUNTRY.

That’s a lot of hate you just spewed, and regardless of the circumstances regarding former Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr’s tragic fall from grace, he did a lot of good in Congress and showed a lot of leadership. We should be laying fault at the feet of a political system that promotes misbehavior such as that he and many others in the system have succumbed to.

Enough about him, he is what he is a CRIMINAL, I have no concern about him or the rest of his family. Throw his black a*s in JAIL.It is people like hiom and his PIMPING FATHER, why we dont get anywhere. These are the people the media select to lead us,because they are low lives.
