Mississippi Mayoral Candidate’s Body Found After He Went Missing

mayor1Police are now saying that a body they found belongs to former Clarksdale Mississippi mayoral candidate Marco McMillian.  McMillian’s d***h was confirmed after the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation had been called to the scene of the crime.  His body was found near the Mississippi river.

Supporters of McMillian shared their condolences on his Facebook page:

“Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Marco McMillian, one of the 1st viable openly LGBT candidates in Mississippi,” tweeted the Victory Fund, an LGBT support group.

McMillian was discovered to be missing after an accident occurred involving his SUV.   This led police to try to determine his whereabouts.  McMillian was a graduate of Jackson State University and CEO of MWM & Associates.   He was also an International Executive Director of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, and Chief of Staff to the president at Alabama A&M University.

The Coahoama County Sheriff’s Department is expected to hold a press conference soon. There has been no discussion about who might be responsible for the man’s d***h, if indeed foul play was involved.
